Biography

Adam Martinakis was born in 1972 in Lubań, Poland, into a multicultural family, with a Polish mother and a Greek father. After his childhood in Poland, he moved to Athens in 1982 to study Interior Architecture, Decorative Arts, and Industrial Design at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. He started his career in 2000, working and experimenting on Computer-generated visual media (3d digital image/rendering - animation, digital sculpture, digital video, new media), alongside a career as a professor of digital arts & design, graphics, interior design and ceramic design in many art institutes. He maintains a strong presence in the Art world, and is a member of CultureInside, slashTHREE, Artia Gallery & Art.lica, International Art Collectives and of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts. He now lives and works in Poland, Greece and the UK.
